MILO
Hello all, my name is Milo and I’m a 1.5 year old 50 lb. Shar Pei/Lab mix. When I was taken in by my foster mom, I was really scared. I would pee if anyone raised their voice for any reason and would cry in my cage at night. It was tough on me!
But with a lot of love and patience, my foster mom has brought me out of that shell and I am now confident and happy.

I live with 2 human siblings and one 4-legged brother and I love them all! I love to investigate the back yard when I’m allowed, and I love my chew toys and stuffed animals, but for the most part I like to just chill with my foster family.

My foster mom calls me Mellow Milo because it fits me perfectly, just like my sweet droopy face! I mean you can’t go wrong with me, so how bout it?! Not to mention, I'm crate trained and house trained, too.

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
My adoption fee is $200

THE ROYALS - reviewing applications

Daphne

OUR MOM IS SANDY LISTED BELOW
DAPHNE
: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you Miss Daphne Bridgerton. (waving royally). Helllooooo!! I'm Daphne, the only girl of the Bridgerton pups. I'm an 8-week-old German Shepherd mix. Let it be known that I am quite capable of holding my own against other dogs. After all, I have 3 foster siblings who are older and bigger and I also have my two brothers, Bridge and Hastings. I'm quite fond of the little human tots, too. I'm a lover, a kisser and a snuggler. I'm exquisitely special since I have a short tail unlike my brothers who think their long tails are something to brag about. No need to worry about me knocking that water glass off the coffee table. My hiney is tiny. Whilst sleeping, oh I do love to be warm whether that be by covering up with blankets or snuggled up to my brothers. Normally, I don't care for bling, but since it was glamour shot day, I allowed the pink bow. Not that I'm not a fan of the color pink, I quite enjoy my pink stuffed elephant. I'm quite inquisitive and will figure out these things called stairs soon! I'm about 91.4672% pee pad trained. I love puppy treats, pumpkin, and snuggles.

BRIDGE: Hello, my name is Bridge, short for Bridgerton. Mother was a German Shepherd mix, Father must have been quite the debonair fellow because look at me!  I am 8-weeks-old and the chillest of my family. My foster mother says I am an absolute love bug. But I'm not a bug, I'm a dog. I love to snuggle and my sweet spot is under my right front paw. Ah, foot massages, there's nothing better! I absolutely love to observe my surroundings. Rub my feet some more, would you my good lad? I am good with other dogs and children, too. My favorite toy is a rhino stuffy. For the record, I am not a huge fan of this bow tie, but I entertain my foster mother.  She gave me extra kisses for wearing it. Let me be the Bridge to more love in your family!

HASTINGS: Hello my nearest and dearest friends! My name is Hastings, as in the Duke of Hastings. I am an 8-week-old super floofy German Shepherd mix. As a member of royalty, I hereby decree that I require the following things: 1. chew toys, I prefer ropes and stuffies; 2. belly rubs, lots of belly rubs; 3. more belly rubs; 4. game of tug. I am 94.98% pee pad trained and do love a good nap. When I want to play, I shall treat you to a serenade of puppy noises and when I want a nap, I will walk away and put myself in my blankies. I am good with other dogs, and, not to brag, I am the biggest of my litter. I am good with kids, love to play, love to play tug and am happy to sit when I am tired. Who doesn't want a member of royalty in their family?

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed/neutered.
My adoption fee is $300

SANDY--reviewing applications
S is for Sandy, Special, Spectacular, and...Sweetest! Sweetest - dog - EVER. That's what my foster Mom Says anyway. I'm a 4-5 year old.... uhhhh.... Smorgasbord of breeds and my favorite thing to do is, well, hang out with humans.

I'm Subdued (quiet), lovable, and an easy dog. I can't be bothered with the cats and the growly chihuahua in my foster home, so I give them the Silent treatment by ignoring them. Who needs that kind of Stress? Just go with the flow, I Say!

I'm Slightly timid in the beginning, but once I know the routine, I'm Simply fabulous. I'm housebroken, crate trained, and because I'm Stunning, I don't bother anything when left loose in the house. I like to go for Strolls, but only to potty, then I'm ready to Sashay back inside. The best home for me would be a Serene one with few children visiting.

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.

DAWSON--reviewing applications
My name is Dawson and I used to host Family Feud years a.... Actually, I’m a 6 year old Goldendoodle. I was surrendered by my family because I started to become very anxious and I had some unfortunate interactions with some people who were very unkind to me..

My new forever family needs to understand that while I have ALL the love and loyalty to give, it’ll take a lot of time, patience, and understanding. I cannot be in a home with any children/teenagers and due to my territorial nature, it’d be best if I had no other pets around and was even possibly only with a single person.

I do have a history of biting, especially in the first week after my longtime family gave me up and being placed into my new foster home with new dogs and new people, but all were very minor. I’m not trying to hurt anyone, I just feel the need to defend myself.

I’ve been with my foster parents for a month now and have bonded to them completely with a lot of work in mutual trust, but I still have my moments. My foster parents are learning my triggers and we’ve come SO far, but my new owner must have experience with anxious dogs or be willing to work with a professional behavioral trainer to make sure I’m not given up on again.

I take morning jogs and late night walks with my foster mom and am amazing on a leash. This exercise and routine brings me a lot of joy and stability. Once I bond, I bond hard, and I solely want to be by your side at every moment. I am fully house trained and due to my anxiety, I sleep in my own room by myself at night (although I love cuddles during the day). I’m not a ‘mean’ or ‘aggressive’ dog. I'm a very smart dog with a past who needs an experienced and compassionate person to be my human for life.

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
My adoption fee is $300

OREO: Hi, before you ask... my foster parents picked us up after starting their New Year’s diet. So, ya, there ya go. :)  The shelter thinks that I am a Lab/Husky mix, but many of my admirers think I look like a Heeler. I'm a 9-10 week old happy and curious female puppy who really likes being with you outside my pen exploring the world and finding all the dust bunnies under the sofa. I'm also very brave and attempt to play with my foster brother who is a 155 lb Newfie. I'm getting used to wearing a collar and being walked around the house on it but it’s kind of itchy and sometimes I think it's a toy. I get along well with all types of dogs, even the big ones, and I try my best to play with them. I'm very strong and I will let you know when I need some cuddles, food, or just a new toy.  At night I sleep in a crate and I might whine for a few minutes but I calm down quickly and sleep through the night. I love to eat, get belly rubs and find the newest toys.

COOKIE: Hi, before you ask... my foster parents picked us up after starting their New Year’s diet. So, ya, there ya go. :)  The shelter thinks that I am a Lab/Husky mix, but many of my admirers think I look like a Heeler. I'm a 9-10 week old happy and loving female puppy, and I really like being around my foster mom and dad. I also like to play and run about, but relaxing next to you chewing on a toy is my preferred activity. I do a really good job of going potty on my puppy pads in my pen, and in due time, I'll learn how to do my business outside. I'm just too young for that right now. I'm getting used to wearing a collar and being walked around the house on it, but it’s kind of itchy and sometimes I think it's a toy. I get along well with all types of dogs, too. My foster brother is 155 pounds and he is really fun to climb on! I try my best to play with the big dogs, I'm very strong, and I will let you know when I need some cuddles, food, or just a new toy. At night, I sleep in a crate and I might whine for a few minutes but I calm down quickly and sleep through the night. I'm a very chill puppy, I like the finer things in life, and have decided that the couch is a place for me.

CREAM: Hi, before you ask... my foster parents picked us up after starting their New Year’s diet. So, ya, there ya go. :) The shelter thinks that I am a Lab/Husky mix, but many of my admirers think I look like a Heeler. I'm a 9-10 week old happy and hoppy female puppy, and I love to run and jump around (jump around, jump up, jump up, and get down!). I really like being around my foster mom and dad or foster siblings. I do a really good job of going potty on my puppy pads in my pen, and in due time, I'll learn how to do my business outside. I'm just too young for that right now.  I'm getting used to wearing a collar and being walked around the house on it, but it’s kind of itchy and sometimes I think it's a toy. I get along well with all types of dogs, and get this, I climb on my foster brother who is 155 pounds - it's really fun! I try my best to play with the big dogs. At night, I sleep in a crate and I might whine for a few minutes, but I calm down quickly and sleep through the night. I'm also very brave and loving, and will let you know when I need something or that I'm unhappy, but I am very easy to please and a lot of the time I just want to sit closer to you.

BLIZZARD: I am Blizzard!! I'm the most voiceterous (or is that boisterous?) of 'em all and definitely the leader of my sisters. My other sibling was Icy, but she was adopted already. I'm a 9-10 week old Lab/Husky mix, I think, and I have the most beautiful blue eyes. I'm still too young to be fully house trained, but I'm working on it! I love to get allllllllll the attention and am sweet as strawberry wine.

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed/neutered.

TRUCK
Hello! My name is Truck. I'm a 4-month-old Pitbull mix puppy with plenty of love and kisses to give. I enjoy playing with toys and other dogs, but I'm not too sure about cats.

I love a good cuddle with my people and prefer to sleep beside you at night rather than the crate. I'm a little protective of my food and bones, but with some training and care, this should get better!

As you may be able to see, my front legs (especially my left) are a little wonky! I had injuries to my legs as a small pup, but that does not stop me from running and playing. It will be important that my family understands that my legs may never be straight and that I need to keep a good lean weight.

I am very excited to go home to my new family and start new adventures! woot woot!

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

BUDDY S. MILES
Hi I’m Buddy and smiling is my favorite thing! I look like a big boy here, but at 6 months old I'm only 35 lbs. My foster mom thinks I’m the sweetest boy. I'll admit it -- she's 100% right. I love people of all sizes, so I'm glad that I live with 4 small ones right now and I am great with them.

I'm also really good with cat friends and I will play all day with other dogs. I like to play tug in the backyard and chase my dog friend around and around. When I'm done being dizzy and come inside from playing, I will lay on my back for you to wipe me down. It's like a mini spa treatment.... ahhhh!

In case you haven't picked up on it yet, I'm very smart. I already learned how to sit, shake, and lay down. I am crate trained and house trained, too. I love to chew on toys and make them squeak! If it was up to me, I would lay on the couch all day and take a nap with my head in your lap. Please give me a home I love you, I love you, I loooveee youuuu!

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

You're kidding me, right? You see this look on my face? Do I look HAPPY to you? You put me up here, you expect me to smile, you want me to pose all cute and whatnot, but all I really wanna do...IS CHASE MY FELLOW FOSTER DOGS!! LET'S GOOOOOOO!!!

I'm a 10 lb, 2.5 month old Lab/ Pitbull mix. I'm mostly black and white and, for kicks, I had my stylist throw in some brindle highlights.

I'm crate trained, I'm good with cats, and I'm learning how and where to do "muh bus'ness" if y'know what I mean. I'm still very young, so I still have a ways to go but so far, I'm doing great!

I've also discovered this thing I can do and it is *SO COOL*. My foster mom calls it barking and when I play, I like to use my new found voice to talk smack when I'm playin' around. I figure maybe someday it'll be BIG!

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

GROVER - reviewing applications
Greetings! It is I, Grover! I am a cute, furry little monster, but I am not purple or blue. I am black and white and I am a Great Pyrenees with maybe some Newfoundland thrown in. I am also not little. I am close to 100 lbs and I am STRONG. I am 6 years old and sometimes, I am Super Grover!

For the first five years of my life, I was on a chain. Even with my super powers, I could not break free. I was finally rescued and my foster Mom thought I would be great at guarding her livestock - which I am. Because I am... Super Grover!.

BUT, my personality is so bubbly (bubble! bubble! bubble!) and no one sees it out there and that is unfortunate. When I put on my super cape and my super helmet, I find my way to humans and love them as much as I love my goats, cats, ducks, horses, and doggie partners.

I am also stealthy. I made my way into the house and da-da-da-DA, no accidents so far! I think I am house trained? Time will tell. I am also quiet in my crate and I LOVE to be petted. Pet pet pet. I will remind you constantly so you do not forget, ok?

If I smell something yummy, I will counter surf, so I am learning all about manners. I eat my food away from everyone else because I do not like to share, but I will share my toys! I also get SUPER excited when I first come in, but I settle down fast.

I am up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.

HILDI - reviewing applications
Potatoes are brown, I'm kind of brown. Potatoes have eyes, I have eyes. But, I'm pretty sure I'm a dog.... right? So, I don't know why my foster mom calls me a "couch potato". If you put a potato on a couch, I'm gonna eat it, just sayin'.

My name is Hildi, I'm about 4 years old, and I love the snow. No wonder kids play in it so much! I'm a German Shepherd who is housebroken and gets along great with kids/dogs/cats.

HOWEVER... I'm heartworm positive.  BUT! Lucky Tales is covering the cost of my treatment so long as you use one of their partner vets. There are strict rules for heartworm treatment and recovery, so please do research before applying. Otherwise, I'm healthy and expected to make a full recovery.

I'm up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. My adoption fee is $300

FRECKLES
Fitting name, don't you think? Who's loving life after spending 2 years in a shelter?? THIS GUY!

I'm 3 years old and, yes, I spent two of them at the shelter. smh. My foster mom can't figure out why I was there so long. I'm pretty chill in the house but outside I can get super playful.

Lucky Tales thinks I may be a Pointer mixed with some Pit, all I know is that I love playing with other dogs and I'm learning to overcome my shyness with people.

My new family should have at least one other playful dog, a secure fenced yard, and an abundance of love and patience.

Now that I can run around and play, I've even lost a few pounds. I'm a solid fella weighing in around 75 lbs. I've been around older kids (11 and 14) and they're pretty cool. I just need a little time to get used to new people.

I'm up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered.

My adoption fee is $200

Louise
LOUISE
Hi there, I'm Louise! I'm a 3 year old pitty who is simply darling although I'm a little shy. Right now, I need to gain a little weight since i'm only 45 lbs., so I'm thoroughly relishing this whole "treat" thing.

I'm good with other dogs and cats and, even though I have a gentle disposition, kids may not be a good fit for me. I'm also crate trained and house broken.

Here's another mark in the win column. I like to go on walks and I do well on my leash. Car rides are aweeeeeeeesome and, side note, I *LOVE* my foster sister, Bailey. My foster mom calls us Thelma and Louise. (Bailey's middle name must be Thelma).

I'm a little bit of a chewer and my foster mom thinks that might be because I never had toys or chews before. Toys are so cool, I like to play tug of war with Bailey.

I'm not going to lie to you kind folks, I counter surf, most likely because I was never sure where my next meal was going to come from so my foster mom is teaching me that I'll never have to go hungry again and to stay off the counters.

I'm spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $200

Babyface
BABYFACE
La la la la... I've got the cutest little Babyface! Sing with me!!! Baby faaaaaaceee... la la la la la la la.... Aren't I just the most debonair cat you've ever seen? My name is Babyface and I am, if I do say so myself, a gorgeous male Tabby who is looking to grace your house with my presence. I am about 9-10 months old, I love my people and attention, but I am not necessarily a lap cat. Don't act shocked, I am a cat, after all. We're complicated. :)

I am great with being picked up, I'm a very easy going cool cat, and, hey, I'm good with dogs and other cats, too. Here's lookin' at you, kid! (wink wink)

I am neutered, up to date on shots, FIV/Felv negative, and microchipped!

My Adoption Fee is $95.00

Yin
YIN
Have you ever felt a few cans short of a six pack? Sort of out of balance or just not bringing your A-game? ME, TOO!! My sibling Yang found a home already, but I'm still here - by myself!! It's a travesty, really. I'm a pretty female 5 month old Tuxedo kitten. Yes, I can be bit aloof at times. However, in my defense, I've been through a lot! From a hurricane to traveling to KY, to waiting around for a home, it's exhausting!

My foster thinks I'll come around with time though. I'm not aggressive or anything even though this pouty face makes me look... well... hmmm... uhhh... let's call it my serious face. I'm seriously looking for a home of my own! ha!

Right now, I do well with the small dog in my foster home, but I'd REALLY like to be in a house with some cat companionship.

I am spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
My Adoption Fee is $95.00

Rudy
RUDY
Yo! My name is Rudy. People say I'm a Chihuahua, but I dunno 'bout dat. I feel like maybe I'm Italian, I dunno. Whatchou think? I even bet you're reading dis wit' an Italian accent! I may be a small guy, but I'm loyal to da core, only about 9 years old and, Mama Mia, I love to eat! Maybe I'm a little chonky, so what!

I've been wit' Lucky Tales a long time, capische? Probably a coupla years now! Eesh! A guy don't like bein' picked up and suddenly he's got a reputation!

I'm a cuddla!!  That's "cuddler" for youze guys not up on the hip lingo being used today.

Just take a seat, lemme jump up to you, and then we can do some Netflix and chill - whaddya say?? I'm housebroken and crate trained, too.

Look, I do well wit' other dogs, but since I still have a bit of spunk, I'll chase cats. Hoo wheee, that's fun! Also, small children aren't for me and, frankly, I really need to be wit' someone who has owned Chihuahuas and understands me and my kind.

Now, full transparency here... Lucky Tales has asked me to tell you that I'm much more fond of men than I am of women, so my ideal home would be one with no chicks, dames, gals, girlies - you get the idea.

So, who is looking for a small companion?! Anyone? Ca-mahhhhhhn, I know you're out there somewhere!! Look, I'm a realistic guy. I know it's a tall order to fill. The right person is out there, you just haven't found me yet! What if I throw around some hashtags? Ya, I know all about hashtags -- #TheDodo #WeRateDogs .

I'm up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

MOXIE - reviewing applications
I've got legggggs.... I know how to use 'em! I never begggggg,.... okay, that's not entirely true.
I'm a dog, I'll beg for just about anything - lovin', treats, food, playin', you name it.

Anyway, name is Moxie, but my mom calls me Moxie Moomoo. I'm a 2-year-old, 75 lb, Greyhound / Bloodhound mix with lots of love to give.

First and foremost, I'M A HOUND. My new home should be with someone who adores and understands the hound personality. Being a hound means I bark. I'm vocal. I like to talk.
I can be food possessive and chew things, but....

Prior to my mom working so much, I never had a problem being out of my crate when she wasn't home. I'd just turn on Secret Life of Pets, make some popcorn, and chill. But, now she's working a lot more and without her home to spend time with me, well.... that chewing thing? I think it's because I'm anxious, have pent up energy, and maybe even bored a little.

Don't let that scare you away though! I think if I had someone who was home more, my sweet and precious spirit would start shining through again. I love kids, dogs, even cats! I'm house and crate trained and I know basic commands, too. When I'm not left to my own devices, I only chew on my toys and I *LOVE* my bones. When my Mom and I would go on walks regularly, she said I was *amazing* on a leash. I was so proud of that! It'd be awesome to have some kiddos to run around with, but remember, I'm a lanky girl that can knock little ones over pretty easily.

I'm up to date on shots, heartworm negative, and will be microchipped, and spayed prior to adoption..
